1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Paul McKenna App (the “App”), including all associated content, features, and services, such as the AI Coach (the “AI Coach”).
The App is developed and distributed by Taggr Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 08656182) with its registered office at 86–90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom (“Taggr”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

The App provides access to licensed wellbeing content created and owned by Paul McKenna (“Content Provider”).
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App or any of its features.
2. Acceptance of Terms and AI Coach Opt-In
Before using the AI Coach, you will be asked to review and confirm your acceptance of these Terms. By opting in, you expressly acknowledge that:
- The AI Coach is a digital self-help and motivational tool powered by artificial intelligence.
- The AI Coach is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, therapeutic, or legal advice and it is not suitable fo the following uses; Clinical Depression, Suicidal Thoughts, Obsesive Compulsive Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Eating Disorders, Schizophrenia.
- Your interactions with the AI Coach may be processed and stored for performance and safety purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You use the AI Coach voluntarily and at your own risk.
If you do not agree to these conditions, you may still use other features of the App but will not have access to the AI Coach.
3. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older to access the AI Coach or create an account on the App.
If you are under 18, you may only use the App’s non-AI content with parental or guardian consent.
4. Nature of the AI Coach
The AI Coach is an automated conversational tool designed to simulate guidance inspired by Paul McKenna’s techniques and published material. It aims to support general wellbeing, motivation, and personal development.
You acknowledge that the AI Coach:
- Cannot diagnose, treat, or cure any medical or mental health condition;
- May produce automated or generic responses not reviewed by a human;
- May occasionally generate inaccurate or inappropriate information;
- Is not intended for emergency or crisis use.
If you are in distress or require urgent help, you must contact a qualified professional or emergency service in your country. The AI Coach should never be used as a substitute for professional care or emergency assistance.
5. Prohibited Uses and Content Restrictions
You agree not to use the App or AI Coach for any unlawful, harmful, or inappropriate purpose, including but not limited to:
- Seeking or providing medical, psychological, or psychiatric diagnosis or treatment.
- Discussing or seeking advice regarding self-harm, suicide, or life-threatening emergencies.
- Requesting or offering prescription medication, treatment plans, or medical opinions.
- Requesting or creating content of a sexual, violent, hateful, discriminatory, or illegal nature.
- Uploading, prompting, or distributing offensive or defamatory content.
- Using the App for financial, legal, or tax advice.
- Attempting to reverse engineer, extract, or replicate the AI model or App systems.
- Recording, redistributing, or publishing AI Coach content without written permission.
Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App and AI Coach are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Taggr Limited and Paul McKenna make no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding accuracy, reliability, or suitability for any purpose.
Your use of the App is entirely at your own risk. We do not guarantee that the App will meet your expectations, achieve particular results, or be free of technical errors.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Taggr Limited, Paul McKenna, and their respective directors, officers, employees, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the App or AI Coach, including but not limited to loss of data, income, or opportunity.
- Total aggregate liability under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount (if any) you paid for the App or its subscription in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
8. Data Protection and Privacy
Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, and how you can exercise your privacy rights.
By using the App, you agree that Taggr may process your data in accordance with applicable data-protection laws, including the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and CCPA, as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the App, including software, design, graphics, text, audio, video, and AI-generated content, belong to Taggr Limited or are licensed from Paul McKenna and other licensors.
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, revocable, and non-transferable licence to use the App for private, non-commercial purposes only.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App or its outputs without prior written consent.
10. Subscription and Payment
Certain features or content may require a paid subscription. Payment, renewal, and cancellation terms are governed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store policies.
It is your responsibility to review these store terms and manage your subscription accordingly.
11. Termination and Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App or AI Coach at any time, without notice, if:
- You breach these Terms;
- You misuse or attempt to compromise the App; or
- Continued access would pose a risk of harm, legal liability, or reputational damage.
Termination does not affect any rights or obligations accrued before the termination date.
12. International Use
While the App is operated from the United Kingdom, it may be accessed globally.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App complies with local laws in your jurisdiction.
Taggr makes no representation that the App or its content is appropriate or available in all regions.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time to reflect legal, technical, or product updates.
When changes are made, the revised version will be published in the App and on our website with a new “Last updated” date.
Continued use of the App following such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
You agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising in connection with these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
